Inspired by a song Johnny Cash wrote about a soldier who served in Vietnam, the car and bike show portion of the Johnny Cash Tribute Festival is sponsored by Noble Fabrications with proceeds going to owner Matt Noble’s charity A Walk on Water. The show offers casual observers and gearheads alike an up close look at some of Noble’s fine custom car work (most of the pre-1965 entries belong to his customers). With over 15 years experience fabricating and finishing award-winning vehicles, he specializes in traditional customization of rods, classics and lowriders. He doesn’t make it out to many car shows. These days, he’s either working at his shop in Ventura or with his wife and newborn baby, so this event is a rare opportunity to catch him for a chat. Bikes are curated by Chopper Fest producer, Tory DuVarney, and will feature mostly pre-1965 vintage and custom machines.
For car and bike entries use promo code RSR2014NOBLE or head over to Noble Fabrications at 37 Mc Farlane in Ventura for hard copy tickets and veteran, active duty, and car club discounts. Cars and bikes will be displayed on the grass, near the Fairground’s front gate. All makes and models qualify for this Event. Check in between 6:30am-9:30am.
